  1. People on the Right would say that profit and greed have always existed and question why now all of a sudden it's causing prices to inflate. So is the answer: because record profits have occured rapidly amongst the most powerful organizations? Could it also be because small businesses were decimated during the pandemic? It could also be the shock that came from people having lots of buying power and then suddenly not anymore, on top of the economy opening back up while productivity remained at levels too low to keep up with the sudden opening?
