  1. The free market is why there are only two major service providers. They won. The small pharmacies lost the competition that is the capitalist market precisely because their market was limited to their locality. CVS and Walgreens outcompeted the rest and became the giants they did because there was no government regulations enforcing anything, which allowed the market to consolidate.

  2. It's crazy that they didn't point that out. Though and the same time, it is market consolidation and exclusive contracts with insurance agencies that are also to blame.
