And yes I'm aware we don't have an official language but seeing as how we should, most other countries do, and seeing as how over 90% of Americans (we're not called United Stateseans) speak it as a primary language, all living here should know how to speak it and should speak it when in public. If I moved to Japan I am required, and should be btw, to learn how to speak Japanese. Refusing to learn and refusing to speak Japanese in public as a immigrant there makes me a jerk.

  11. CRT is no different than Fox news... It's entire existence is to incite and cultivate fear and hatred of a particular group of people (whites). It is designed to place us in arbitrary groups that supposedly define us not based on individual actions but by things done by others who supposedly look like us. If you are from the United States (of America!) you are referred to as an American. That's what I was referring to. That should not have to be explained.

Getting offended by the word batch (YouTube is also easily offended) shows you are an adult who cant handle adult language, which means you cant handle things when they get super tough. When the going gets tough, lets create a space of false superiority and class. What a joke. However, these business owners clearly are no different than anyone else who exploits their workers. They dont want to pay their employees a living wage and dont want that employee to have to go on social welfare for not being given a fair wage. Hypocritical, selfish and ignorant.

  22. I highly doubt every person for the bill was given 45 minutes total. The opposition to the bill could have been 45 minutes total and give everyone a chance an alotted time to speak. But mathematically it wouldn't add up. Even if it did, arresting him is hypocritical and I don't support it. However I do, for the most part, support this bill.

  23.  @Jin420  the process definitely needs to be made easier. I don't think too many deny that. This other guy doesn't seem to either. However, part of making it easier is simply saying "no, we're full, turn around" to anyone after a certain number who have arrived so we can focus on those who have already arrived and focus more on the people who have been waiting for a while to get their chance.

You've made it my problem to move here, to live here, to be a citizen here and work here but refuse to speak the language of this country, American English. If you are tourist, you should still learn basic sentences to use when traveling but again, tourists and permanent residents are not the same. One is permanently living here and working here, amongst americans, the other is merely visiting. And usually they try to speak English. Tourists are more grateful than many immigrants apparently. Your race is irrelevant. If you're Norwegian and move here, stop speaking Norse in America.
