  3. I had to unsubscribe from Mike awhile ago. Too many entitled takes of privilege coming from him despite playing the whole "I'm a victim because I'm a member of the alphabet soup community". Some people are going to be anti gender deconstruction. But progressives need to get over it.   4. I've been homeless for 3 years with my mom sadly, its hot/cold (depending on the season) and the fear of harassment and arrest from cops simply for being homeless is constant. Fear of not being able to eat is a near weekly threat. No AC in the car and no money to fix it. Bills for car insurance that we can't afford and paying off a loan. But i must say, im not a fan of social housing. Its too tight for space and too uniform. Its ugly and full of high rises often times. I want an apartment or a house. Not these little cubicles that all look the same. I want my own space to record videos (like you) and cook good meals. Unless the inside is spacey, it wont be a good fit for my mom and i.

He opposed a private developer agency from building 400,000 dollar single family homes and 5% of it being considered low income. Of course it wouldn't have been actually affordable, since none of these grifts ever are. The town literally will get rhe housing no matter what because the developers own the land. But this was to make 5% "affordable". It just wouldn't have been. The land should belong to the people of Yellow Springs and they wanted to actually build a unit of 145 low income homes on that 1.7 acres. But it was rejected. So no, Dave Chappelle did not oppose low income housing he opposed a Capitalist grift to get money from the local government to build overpriced homes that jack up the prices for everyone else.

You know what confuses me about Right wingers (not that Joe is necessarily Right wing), what confuses me is they peddle this idea that America is a meritocracy where those who have success and power do so because they earned it. This means we agree to listen to their authority because hey, it's not like we have done anything to warrant bossing people around right? But then when those in positions of influence and power create rules and regulations that would in theory benefit the population, all of a sudden having skepticism of hierarchy, meritocracy and authority is the only course of action for a person full of American virtue. So what happened? Why be suspicious? Now all of a sudden we live in a system where those who are unfit are telling people what to do? The Right starts calling everything authoritarian and dictorial that comes from a person of power they don't trust and claim is impotent and unworthy. So do we live in a meritocracy or not?
