  1. Republicans hate socialism because it supposedly makes everyone equally poor. Which ironically describes Republican States rather aptly. Democrats hate inequality yet live in the most unequal places in the country. Democrats are liberals, not socialists. That is why their policies fail, it doesn't address the root cause. Truth is, both are hypocritical fools. Equality is not valuable. What is valuable is ensuring a basic standard of living for all. Just as important is allowing each community to decide for itself what it wants. And more communities should be allowed to form so that there is wider decentralized power amongst ppl. Also, immigration (mass in particular) is a major reason housing is so expensive, you can have open borders or affordable housing. Choose one.

  2. The ppl should decide where their tax dollars go. Sadly, the ppl can't do that because we famously live in a Republic and not a democracy.
