I don't understand. How is it random when we explicitly developed traits to take on calories due to scarcity? The environment, it would seem, directly, not randomly, led to our evolutionary predisposition to prefer foods that help us return caloric surpluses than foods which do not. How is that random? It can't possibly be. It makes no sense and contradicts everything else stated in the video.

Which self serving cult are you referring to?

I do this with a dice in my pocket for day to day things. Whenever it rolls on a number I shirk at, I choose the opposite option instinctively.

Trotsky himself posed the question, "do the ends necessarily justify the means? Or more important are the ends justified themselves?"

Mohammed a Merchant? That's a word for warlord I've ever heard before.

It's hard to understand because it's nonsensical. It's pretty blatantly obvious even by the examples given in the video that evolution is not entirely random genetic mutations that fit a particular niche well. It's obviously greatly influenced by the direct environment. And when the environment changes too rapidly, further evolutionary adaptation fails to keep up.

Some of this i just had to laugh at. Punish those who are failing... right... religion makes people more cooperative... right... But alot of this was right. Two side of the same coin that provide checks and balances.

If you're in trouble, if society fails, a solar flare knocks out the power grid or the economy tanks, who would be more valuable and essential to your survivability? The laborer with actual skills and experience that can come in handy? Or the rich, spoiled and likely lazy students with no practical skills to contribute? Labor keeps things running. Capitalists just benefit from it. People aren't equal. Some are more more valuable than others based on their skills, willingness to contribute and provide community assistance as well their their negotiating power to being others together for a shared goal. Without workers we have nothing, no roads, no phones, no buildings... Save the workers, save the planet.
