Russians are in enemy territory surrounded by enemies. Small tactical guerrilla-like Ukrainian groups can move fast and have support of the population. They can set up ambushes that by now is the worst nightmare of all Russian soldiers, from the conscripts to the generals. The Ukrainians are in position to choose when they may see advantage of a big direct confrontation with big concentrations of Russians, or may just carry on picking small groups and convoys giving devastating blows to them.

Do not get misled by such drawings on maps. They give illusory pseudo insights on the actual scale of the distances and the extremely difficult task of holding terrain for invading forces. The apparent simple explanations of the strategies and troops movements is just fiction. Things on the ground are far more complicated and messy.

The North Koreans are entering a fight on the side of an army that has repeatedly shown high level of corruption, poor coordination and logistics, and a reckless attitude towards unexperienced conscripts, throwing them again and again into suicidal advances without any concerns about the losses of lives. Communication and coordination between North Korean soldiers and Russians will be as poor as it can be, considering the huge language gaps, and differences in equipment, command and training patterns. Most likely Russian officers will sacrifice North Korean soldiers gratuitously in any opportunity where they can avoid sending Russians to the slaughter house. It can be expected that North Korean scarce ammunition and equipment will be stolen by the Russian soldiers at every opportunity they find. Most likely, the involvement of North Korean will be disastrous for them and the tyrant, a balloon full of gases, will realize his stupidity in listening to the toxic Putin and his evil arguments.
