  1.  @foam27  Porsche is bit different, its a plug in hybrid with 2 electric motors. 1 front and 1 in rear parallel with the engine and also serves as the main generator

  2.  @stephenbrownca  Its same thing what they do with bicycles, good MTB is 2,5k but if you add electric motor to it its suddenly 5,5k. That battery and motor is nowhere near 3k in costs, maybe like 1k.
