@dzello "Even small amounts of liquid hydrogen can be explosive when combined with air, and only a small amount of energy is required to ignite it. Both its explosiveness and the extremely low temperatures involved make handling it safely a challenge." - NASA, EXPLOSIVE LESSONS IN HYDROGEN SAFETY

@dansan9858 "Electric cars are still shite though" Let's check the facts, Electric cars have 90% efficiency and ICE cars have around 20% thermal efficiency (some 30%) So in terms of efficiency Electric > Diesel > petrol > hydrogen

@anonimails Diesel engine doesn't even come close to electric motor in terms of efficiency.

@anonimails Irrelevant discussion to have considering how EV have gone from 75% efficiency to 95% in just few years. Meanwhile ICE has been around 30% mark for almost 100 years.

@indiebekonn No, its not. They already reached 500-Wh/kg. Just not on the market yet. That would mean over 2000km range with 100kwh battery.

@indiebekonn Can you read? I said 2000km range on 100kwh battery. I know you are from poland or something and reading is not your forte, but jesus man.

@dan4653 Wrong, lithium doesn't lose 90% of its capacity in cold. More like 50-60% unless you live in Siberia where its -70c

Problem is the power, that NA 5L V8 would make 235hp with hydrogen.
