  1. One rich person spends more money and pays more taxes than 10 poor ones do in their life. What more you want from them? Carry the whole nation on their shoulders?

  2.  @perfectplayingplaids  It means if you have ineffective government (USA) that doesn't know how to benefit the people. But in Denmark we can clearly see the benefits with free Healthcare, welfare and education that add to hight life expectancy etc. Just compare statistics and see how Scandinavian countries leave US behind in everything. You say raising taxes does nothing but where is your proof? I got mine :)

  3.  @rambbler  Their massive wealth is usually due to stocks they own from their companies. But if you just look income and taxes paid, they are doing more than enough. Maybe us should stop spending 700 billion in every year in "defence" budget.

  8.  @darth3911  elderly? It's progressive tax system, the more you earn = more you pay taxes. If you are broke, you don't pay and if you are billionaire you pay a lot... Because you are already a billionaire.
