  1. I don’t understand how it’s possible that there isn’t a law that adds to the punishment for a false accusation the amount of prison time the victim could serve. For example, 3 years in prison for a false accusation of assault + 5 years in prison for an assault that did not occur. Because the victim risked going to prison for 5 years. For a false accusation of rape, 3 years in prison + 10 for potential consequences for the victim. This is the same as kidnapping at the hands of the state. I'm not American, it's none of my business. But all over the world people are shocked to learn that in the USA lawyers are advertised on TV. Are you sure the law works correctly?
