@alanchapman2782 Elections do not give elected REPRESENTATIVES the power to rule. That's not their job. They're HIRED (paid a six-figure taxpayer-provided salary, benefits package, travel expenses, and retirement pension) to do the will of the people and to implement the PRIORITIES of the people. That's their job. If you're electing someone expecting them to rule...the the US isn't the country you should be in.
