Thats why we're at this juncture. The very lucrative medicine industrial complex has more lobbyists roaming the halls of Congress than any other industry to ensure the status quo of their profit margins continue to ceaselessly increase. That's the horrific truth of it.

  7. The VERY LUCRATIVE MEDICINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX has more lobbyists than ANY OTHER INDUSTRY roaming the halls of Congress. That's why nothing changes. That's why, REGARDLESS of the endless calls for a universal healthcare system in the US... NOTHING CHANGES. I'm in my 7th decade and this has been the status quo my entire life.

  10. It's a PERFECT EXAMPLE of the for profit corporate takeover of healthcare, our ability to have housing, food production, the vitality of our own planet for pity sake and so much more. THIS IS WHAT THEY'VE PURCHASED IN HALLS OF OUR OWN CONGRESS.

  11. They NEED to refer this case to the US Department of Justice. Congress doesn't have the authority to arrest anyone or prosecute anyone. They can hold him in contempt of Congress for refusing a Congressional subpoena though.
