  1. Just recently I watched an interview with her at the Kennedy Center..and the thing that gave me pause in her remarks was that she voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. Liz Cheney is an ultra conservative Republican. Her political views and affiliations haven't changed. She loves her country and holds fast to our Constitution...and is committed to our democracy. With that being said... it's important for all of to think about what we not only want our country to be as we move forward..but what we NEED it to be. What we want and need our government to reflect, to stand up for. There are human rights principles that NEED TO APPLY TO EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN IN THE US WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Republicans are opposed to that. That's just the truth. There's no 'kinder-gentler' Republicans in the Republican party... and there hasn't been for ENDLESS DECADES if there ever was at all.

I'm still waiting for ANY media to investigate why Jared Kushner, the former Apprentice TV-show-host 'president' son-in-law walked away from 4 years in the White House 164 million dollars richer and then six months later was 'gifted' 2 billion dollars from the Saudi government. 'Puzzling' isn't it. 😏

Think about it. Think about how many Americans struggle on an ongoing basis as a result of the decisions of these incompetent, self-serving, self-enriching, belligerent DO-NOTHING know-nothings. Disgusting.

NOTHING WHATSOEVER. They sold themselves to the highest bidder years and years and years ago. I know...I'm old. I remember. Their policies are self-serving, self-enriching, and the antithesis of the will and priorities of the majority of the American people.

  18. I'm grateful for her willingness to speak the truth loudly to the members of her party and those who CONTINUE TO BE her colleagues. Liz Cheney hasn't changed her ultra conservative policy and political beliefs. She's still a Reagan Republican and all the shape-shifting rhetoric imbedded in it. The truth of it is the Republican party hasn't done anything to improve the lives of the American people FOR ENDLESS DECADES... even further back than Reagan. Nothing whatsoever. Their political policies are the antithesis of the will and priorities of the majority of the American people. That's part of the reason their party won't survive. That's why it's collapsing.

  20. The Republicans are not redeemable. Even if she was the speaker Trump is blathering away in the background moving the mouths and votes of his pathetic, conniving, marionettes doing his bidding. Liz Cheney is pragmatic in her approach but it's unlikely EVEN SHE could corral the insanity that her party in Congress has devolved into.
