  14. Republicans have voted against immigration reform FOR ENDLESS DECADES. Their corporate OWNER-DONORS DON'T WANT IT. Why? Because they don't want to pay labor costs. Decrease costs (labor) INCREASE PROFIT MARGINS. There's a truck load of implications there.. by preventing legislation from going forward corporations are able to hire illegal immigrants without consequences..pay them less as meat packing employees, in construction, agriculture and on and on (and those hard working immigrants have NO RIGHTS WHATSOEVER as far as working conditions, safety, hours worked, and even whether they get paid for their work). Businesses and corporations love it THAT'S WHY the GOP has blocked immigration reform FOR ENDLESS DECADES.

We HAVE TO STOP expecting those in Washington DC WallStreet Inc to do the will of the people and to implement the priorities of the people WITHOUT PRESSURE AND CONSEQUENCES from the American people. Washington DC doesn't fear the wrath of the American people for being self-serving and self-enriching. There have been no consequences for their abysmal job performance...and that's putting it mildly. Citizens United has thoroughly and PURPOSEFULLY UNDERMINED the will of the people. In addition to other CORPORATE CASH PRIORITIES inundating the halls of our government institutions.
