Children are, (for the most part) powerless while growing up. Someone else is making decisions for them. Is that what we've continued to be... children? Even though we're adults? We don't have a sense that WE'RE actually as intelligent (often more so) and have valuable experience and skill-set as those we elect (HIRE IN OUR STED) to represent us in the halls of our governmental institutions.
