Senator Hee-Haw is a performance artist. He attended Vanderbilt University and is a Rhodes Scholar. He was originally a Democrat but after losing his bid for election some years ago decided it would be more lucrative and better SERVE HIM if he ran as a Republican. Those who've known him for years claim his exaggerated Louisiana 'down-home' dialect/ Kabuki theater-act was absent when they were in college with him. Apparently he's adopted that false-self permanently as his presenting persona.
