  2. Part of the problem for Americans is we want SOMEONE to 'fix it'. We're very childlike in viewing ourselves as powerless rather than coming to grips with the FACT that we're a force of 330 million people and have the right to have a government that works for us...to do OUR Will and to implement OUR PRIORITIES. Do you know that if even half the population in the US went on a general strike we would shut the entire country down? Even if only women (who comprise over half the US population) decided to stand up and say 'NO MORE' in mass... women could shut down the entire system. Our government doesn't listen to us because we don't make them listen..so they do as they like. They feel no pressure whatsoever to actually address the issues of most importance to the majority of the American people. Do you know Congress only works 146.7 days out of the year? How many days out of the year do most Americans work? And they're struggling to get by...in debt up to their eyeballs. Who's PRIMARILY BENEFITING... in 'the richest country in the world'?

But they got a warm body to nod and agree with anything they want passed that will benefit THEM rather than the people of Wyoming. THAT'S the bottom line.

  8. At this juncture the former Republican party is a rotting corpse and has been moving in that direction for many decades. The Republican party hasn't done anything to improve the lives of the American people FOR ENDLESS DECADES and have no intention whatsoever to do so now. It's a political party that's disgraced itself so thoroughly that it's not redeemable. Perhaps another political party will rise from the ashes at some juncture but it will take time and long hard work to do so.

I can only imagine how incredibly painful it must be for those who've been affiliated with a particular political party for many years (if not a lifetime) believing its tenets and peddled narratives...and then faced with and subjected to the glaring obvious reality that it was all a lie all along
