The liberal media's hatred of Nixon was intense. And with every Republican president they always say, "Oh, the media really doesn't like this guy. America's more divided than ever!" No, it's the same, every frickin' time. The left puts a halo on every single one of their guys, and they maliciously attack every president who isn't one of theirs. They always try to make it seem like the Republican candidate is especially defective, like they're Hitler, a racist, a warmonger, etc., when the reality is that it's the left that holds those positions. At least up till GHW Bush, who was a CIA man, and he was a warmonger, along with his son, as were McCain and Romney. Prior to that RINO takeover, though, the Republicans were the party of peace. Nixon was a Quaker.

Whenever the Democrats have the upper hand in America, there is war. People should see this right away, but I guess they get blinded by the lies of the mainstream media. Look at the history. Virtually every single war or significant military action has been under the Democrats, while the Republicans - right up to GHW Bush, who was a CIA RINO - managed to mostly avoid war. Even the war in Ukraine could only happen under Biden and Obama, but not under Trump. Kosovo under Clinton (D), Vietnam under Johnson (D), Korea under Truman (D), WW2 under FDR (D), WW1 under Wilson (D), and the Mexican-American War under Polk (D). The Spanish-American War was opposed by McKinley (R), but called for by a Dem majority. Lincoln (R) opposed the Civil War, but it was forced by the Democrats / Confederates who attacked the supply ships at Ft. Sumter, starting the conflict.

Actually, I think it's fair to say that ALL of the Republican presidents are massively underappreciated, because they've all taken the brunt of left wing history re-writing and getting lambasted in the crooked press. The left LIES constantly about these men. For instance, consider how much the press has bled ink over the death of JFK - which was horrible, and by the usual suspects - yet they don't talk about how these four presidents were shot within a 35 year period: Lincoln (R), Garfield (R), McKinley (R), and T. Roosevelt (R). Huh, I wonder who could have been behind that? Just crazy lone gunmen, I guess! Watergate was a CIA op, and Reagan was shot just 5 months in, in an attempt to promote CIA Bush into the Oval Office. And the left says Harding (R) was the worst ... the "most corrupt" since ... Grant (R). Yet there's nothing there. It's empty mudslinging. The who don't research for themselves don't know, because all that is taught in schools and in the media is LIES! Getting back to Nixon, if you got your information from popular culture, you'd think the Vietnam War was his, and that he championed it, when the opposite was true. It was Johnson's war, and like RFK, Nixon campaigned on ending it, and he did. Which is why he was re-elected in a landslide.

@bluesky6985 They absolutely did. It's upsetting to see so many people thinking this govt overreach began with Obama. That's horrible ignorance. If you strip out the CCP influence, which still began long before Obama, the US federal govt has been misbehaving in tyrannical ways, functioning like organized crime, for over 100 years. I'm not quite sure when it started. To some degree it seems to have fallen into place with the Civil War. But the forces of evil definitely captured DC in the early 1900s, and that was the end of real freedom in the US. Since then, we've been like people in "The Matrix" acting as batteries (via income tax) for an alien and malevolent upper class.
Consider what every school kid knows, but doesn't think critically about: "Aside from JFK (D), which US presidents have been shot?" Answer: Lincoln (R), Garfield (R), McKinley (R), T. Roosevelt (R), and Reagan (R).

@Lancer_0010 I disagree. I mean yes, our primaries often fail us, due to a tendency to promote the person with the most corporate sponsorship as opposed to someone who is most like us. That's a huge and significant failing. Like, we should have supported Kathy Barnette instead of Mehmet Oz. Oz had better donors and name recognition, but Barnette was one of us.
But my analysis indicates the real problem is that corruption happened long before Joe first ran for the Senate. And it's a Mafia that makes deals and promotes "made men." It's very hard to get regular citizens into Congress because of that.
As for the "made men" type candidates, they are soulless creatures willing to be a puppet for money, spending every day selling out America. So not just prostitutes, but like spies selling out their own people. That's why they all look like AOC, Pelosi, Nadler, Joe, Kamala, etc. Soulless hustlers who would sell their mother or daughter into slavery for a buck.
