  3. Greenland is a welfare recipient state supported by the taxpayers of Denmark, who resent it. Denmark owning Greenland is like your average person owning a huge plot of land where they can barely afford the property tax each year, and thus don't have enough money to develop it. So what do you do if you're Denmark? You flip it and get some cash. As for the people of Greenland, they have been living on welfare from Denmark, so they have no concept of reality. They feel entitled to a standard of living they can't actually afford. They believe simply by saying "We want no part of war" that this will fend off aggressors. A lot of people living there have a liberal European attitude that has been shaped by left wing propaganda and misinformation.

  4. I've heard the sentiment is about 40% in Alberta to join the US. A simple majority on a referendum is what it would take. However, while citizens believe they have the right to secede, the federal govt apparently has plenty of wiggle room to deny departure. They can, for instance, exploit the legal language to always demand a higher majority than what was delivered by the referendum. Since Quebec survives by stealing oil revenue from Alberta, the feds would never let Alberta go.

  11. Canada seems to want to ruin itself to the point where it has no other option but to be annexed. If they retaliate as they've promised, they will drive the Canadian dollar down to fifty cents. Part of the problem in Canada is they have been even more deeply blinded and gaslit by the media than has happened in the US. The collapse of Canada from the inside is going to open eyes. Once the US gets more of these illegals out, I'd like to see them offer work visas for Canadians, to help ease the hardship in Canada. The young conservative men want US jobs.

  13. I can't tell if people don't pay any attention to China in the news, or what. But China offers BILLIONS in a loan, with a huge bribe to all of the officials. They wouldn't try to BUY Greenland, they would give Greenland a multibillion loan to develop a port. And then when Greenland can't make the payments on the loan, that port will become China's new naval base. China will offer them loans to create mines, oil drilling operations, etc., and when Greenland can't pay the loan back, these things become owned by China. They've done this all over the world. How does anyone not know this? I wouldn't be shocked to find that the head of Greenland already has millions in his personal account from China.

China, through Biden and Obama, nearly took the US down, and we still have to find a way to pay down the national debt. But we're ahead of Canada in detection and recovery. One of the current candidates for PM has asked for nuclear weapons with which to fight off the US. The only country that would provide such assistance? China.

  27. Actually, I'd rather have the US making a stronger economic alliance with Russia than Ukraine, for various reasons. Ukraine is a heavily indebted country; they were before the war. Total corruption. Like an African country in that the people and land were exploited beyond belief by anyone and everyone, including Russia and China, plus the west. Europe expects to see their loans repaid, even though Russia purposefully seized the land with the greatest resource value. So, way too many pigs at that trough. Meanwhile, Russia has been getting exploited by "friend for life" China, and is probably starting to figure out that this is a bad thing, and if they want to get their war torn refineries, airplanes, and factories fixed, they need to align with the US.

What they're saying right now is that they are ready to "righteously" refuse Trump, but take American money, like Biden feeding Ukraine.   32. The Palestinians need to be relocated far away from any strategic area so they are no longer useful to the international left wing (the communists). This is the only way to end the exploitation of the Palestinians by noxious foreign powers. I don't mean putting them in a wasteland, just not near the Suez Canal or any other such area where China / Iran / whoever might tap them on the shoulder and give them money, weapons, and terrorist organization again. Put them in a place where they can finally have peace and prosperity and not be the focus of someone else's fight. So they need to be moved away from Israel, and away from any place of international interest, whether due to local factions or geography.

As for PR and VI, those islands cannot be a state. IMO, they could be annexed by Florida, and that's the only thing that makes sense.   36. Many conservatives in Canada would be considered establishment RINOs in the US. They only know the world as liberals have defined it, and a great many have TDS as a consequence. Americans afraid of the electoral consequences to the US should consider that Canada doesn't have to come to the US as just one state. It would more likely come as two - just like in the pre-Civil War days - with one gerrymandered to be liberal, and one gerrymandered to be conservative. I'm going to guess the liberal one would be based on the strip of Windsor, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, and Halifax, while the conservative one would be the rest of the country. Call the conservative one Canada and the liberal one Quebec? IDK. Not saying it would or should happen.

  41.  @parlyramyar  What I read was that the issue of the referendum, whether the majority was "satisfactory," might be up to the discretion of Ottawa. It's not explicitly defined just exactly how high the vote needs to be, and Ottawa might move the bar. But we'll have to see how it goes!
