I can't tell if people don't pay any attention to China in the news, or what. But China offers BILLIONS in a loan, with a huge bribe to all of the officials. They wouldn't try to BUY Greenland, they would give Greenland a multibillion loan to develop a port. And then when Greenland can't make the payments on the loan, that port will become China's new naval base. China will offer them loans to create mines, oil drilling operations, etc., and when Greenland can't pay the loan back, these things become owned by China. They've done this all over the world. How does anyone not know this? I wouldn't be shocked to find that the head of Greenland already has millions in his personal account from China.
