  1. Many conservatives in Canada would be considered establishment RINOs in the US. They only know the world as liberals have defined it, and a great many have TDS as a consequence. Americans afraid of the electoral consequences to the US should consider that Canada doesn't have to come to the US as just one state. It would more likely come as two - just like in the pre-Civil War days - with one gerrymandered to be liberal, and one gerrymandered to be conservative. I'm going to guess the liberal one would be based on the strip of Windsor, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, and Halifax, while the conservative one would be the rest of the country. Call the conservative one Canada and the liberal one Quebec? IDK. Not saying it would or should happen.
