  1. I definitely think Siberia would want to separate and be autonomous, but they're Russia's prime colony and would never be allowed to escape. Furthermore, China wants Siberia. So Siberia, no matter what they might want, they're going to get crushed and abused by either China or Russia. They would not be allowed to be autonomous. IMO, China is likely to just take Siberia if Russia seems particularly weak or fractious. China sees itself as a north pole power, and that's because they already see Siberia as theirs.

  2. China intends to take all of Siberia. It's their top plan, and that's why it is their most secret plan. Second is control of Myanmar. Third is probably the various things that Trump is now countering, like Panama (10-20% of the population is now Chinese), Canada (laundering 90% of the drug trade through Canadian banks, in turn run through real estate, which has caused the price of Canadian homes to go sky high), Mexico, and Greenland. Way, way down the list, trotted out to the public as a red herring, is Taiwan. Sure, it would be great to take Taiwan, but that is there to draw attention away from the most important goals for the CCP. The Ukraine War is part of China's plan, called for by the WEF (the CCP's western office), and intended to weaken and isolate Russia, making them more dependent upon China. This is one of the reasons why China has insisted to be part of any Ukraine peace plan, and why Trump won't let China participate.

  3. Trump wants a reason for the US to have a physical interest and possibly strategic interest in Ukraine that would make it less likely Russia would invade again. Also, he always wants to compensate American taxpayers for money spent, so he's trying to find a way to do that. Zelinksky of course wants to continue getting everything he wants for free, so this is a severe shock to his system, but he realizes the greatest benefit he could get at this point, if he wants security, is to have a US strategic interest. Because he knows the Europeans on their own are cheap and fickle (no shade on Europe, but that's pretty much it), and not likely to protect Ukraine much in the future. If the US hadn't stepped in back when this started, Europe would have stayed out of it.

  5.  @alqaas1948  Siberia is lightly populated. Neither Russia nor China cares a whit about what the residents of Siberia think. It's a subjugated region.
