  1. I definitely think Siberia would want to separate and be autonomous, but they're Russia's prime colony and would never be allowed to escape. Furthermore, China wants Siberia. So Siberia, no matter what they might want, they're going to get crushed and abused by either China or Russia. They would not be allowed to be autonomous. IMO, China is likely to just take Siberia if Russia seems particularly weak or fractious. China sees itself as a north pole power, and that's because they already see Siberia as theirs.

  2.  @alqaas1948  Siberia is lightly populated. Neither Russia nor China cares a whit about what the residents of Siberia think. It's a subjugated region.
