Women's sports only make sense to evaluate women against other women. Men's sports only have value against other male competitors. And within those divisions, you have to further break it up, because college athletes would outclass most weekend athletes, and professional athletes would tend to defeat college athletes handily. Comparing men and women ... professional women athletes are competitive with male weekend athletes.
