I don't think it's even required to marry for love. I think it's required that you marry with FAITH, and that this is the reason why it is typically a religious vow. I will love any pet I take in and care for. If you put in the time and the care, you get invested. All of these women who reject their man in marriage, they're not invested in him. Why is that? Because they don't have faith in what they're doing with the marriage, and they didn't commit. We must approach marriage in faith that it is going to work, and invest fully in it, or it will not work. Love comes as a consequence of us investing our time and effort into things. The love of a parent for a child, the love of a child for a parent, the love of a farming family for their land, etc. Lots of tears, maybe, but love too.
