So they will continue with the present plan, which is to undermine Taiwan, the US, and the US allies in the Asia Pacific. For example, they won't invade Taiwan till they have a completed base in the Solomons. Speaking of the Caribbean, I believe it was the PLA who killed the president of Haiti. They had offered him billions, and he still wouldn't give up his support for Taiwan.
