  1. IMO, China is preparing itself to "assist" Russia with its security. Taiwan is a silly target for China, when Russia - which has all the resources China lacks - is directly to the north. And Russia is already isolated from the west, so the west would not interfere with a "security" mission where China is merely "supporting" Russia. IMO, Russia's General Shoigu works for the CCP.
