Not addressed: China wanted this war and was planning for it. As with covid, where they stockpiled medical assets, they were stockpiling food assets before the Ukraine war. I think China is playing both sides for their own profit. They're hurting the west by proxy (it's not their war), but also using this opportunity to conduct elite capture within Russia, a country which has been largely closed to their elite capture efforts. Their goal is to do the same to Russia as they have done to the rest of the world: to buy officials, buy resources, and through soft power, take over.
