I rarely find myself in agreement with Malice, but yes, the resistance of the deep state to any cut is going to be massive. Any cut is going to be magnified and made into hysteria. Just like how the Dems didn't want to pay for the border wall - "It's too much money!!!" - but they're happy to block the wall, sell off the materials for nothing, and force the nation to pay for it all over again. They're just con men, trying to keep their blood funnels in the neck of America.
