  1. It's not exactly true that women have become more choosy. What happened is the philosophies of hedonism and progressivism dominate modern culture, especially among women, and this causes them to look for "perfectly satisfying" situations. And when they don't find them, they leave. So women are not building, they're leaving. It's just hedonism. What's required is a more stoic philosophy, if you're going to have relationships that persist despite ups and downs. However, stoicism is seen as an "old, traditional" value system - not modern - and thus valueless, according to progressivism. Progressivism says that all old ways are bad and must be replaced by the new, and hedonism is always talked about as if it is "the new way," but of course it isn't.
