Also "coincidence" ... from what I've heard, Moderna was nearly out of business, and "was fortunate" to hit the ball out of the park with a virus arriving when it did. I'd be curious about what evidence there is for much earlier releases, like in 2017 and 2018, with maybe slightly different viruses that didn't catch on ... so they kept working on it to make it contagious and more deadly ... though only so deadly that they would need to make billions of doses of vaccine.
