I have a recommendation related to this, if anyone has the condition and would like to experiment in a gentle and inexpensive way. I theorize that this could be related to the buildup of microorganisms in the body that eat sugar. A rare type of sugar they can't digest, that is toxic to them (but fine in humans) is xylitol. Xylitol has been around for 100 years. Don't let animals have xylitol, but it's safe in humans. It's a sugar derived from trees (like maple sugar) that is thought to kill off candida and streptococcus, provided it is taken in the absence of other sugars. I suspect the mast cells are being activated by the waste from these microbes as they eat sugars, and that's what eventually creates the body's intolerance. So you'd take 1 teaspoon of xylitol in an unsweetened beverage up to 4x a day. Read up on it before trying it, but you'll find bags of xylitol as a sugar replacement at health food stores.
