Putin has to teach the little kids how to be drone operators because he's already killed off their fathers.
1
If possible, Ukraine needs to focus more on hitting supply lines. Russia can send more meat than they can supplies. Also, while I expect Ukraine to "liberate" Crimea this year, I don't expect them to occupy it. They will reduce the ability of Russia to hold that land and have assets in that land, and then begin pushing east. I expect the front line currently at Kherson to move south to the shorline and edge of Crimea. The bridges, roads, and railways to Crimea will be gone or controlled.

Yes, Putin is covered in innocent blood.
1
You can probably be arrested for cooking with a tank grill if you are cooking Z patriot hot dogs.
1
When do the F-16s arrive?
1
Patriotism is fine if the People actually run the govt. But even in the US, the federal bureaucracies believe they have the right to run the nation, and they don't want to let the People run it.
1
Not so secretly in the US. I read an article about it a few weeks ago.
1
FWIW, Russia's energy tankers are avoiding the Red Sea, which indicates that it is China that is directing the Houthis, not Russia. As for NATO countries not making their full payments ... if they HAD been paying their share, they would have had a lot more weaponry to send to Ukraine. But countries on the Atlantic, especially, - plus Turkey - don't feel like they're in danger from Russia, so they don't bother about keeping up their NATO defenses. France has given almost NOTHING to Ukraine.
1
Lukashenko could make a bold move. I don't think he would do it, but ... if he has military forces loyal to him and to Belarus, he could seize these nuclear weapons and use them to free himself from Putin. Once the nuclear weapons have been secured, he could threaten to use them on Moscow if Russia didn't withdraw all of their forces from Belarus immediately.
1
As for Putin and Lukashenko going back on their word ... to be honest, this is extremely common among politicians. As for Russia, it's clear that in their hubris all they planned for was an invasion into Ukraine with no resistance. Their whole effort is falling apart now, and as with the Afghanistan War decades ago, this could spell the end of this regime in Russia. (And good riddance to it!)
1
Wasn't the video of the tanks in the east from a week or so ago? Maybe I got that story from a different source and this is the first time you are reporting it, but I definitely saw a very similar situation captured from the same camera angles.

Evil doesn't give up right away.
1
On that political poster at the beginning ... it seems to me the waving flag needs to be reversed in order to have its proper meaning. (Look at it, and I think you will get the joke. It should be a meme.)
1
You have to understand, for some time now, the goal of a military has been to fight a war, but not to win a war. Think about that.
1
@aperson6799 Not sure why that is scary, considering Wagner has been in the field up till now. Also, Russia took back all of the heavy equipment they'd given to Wagner, so presumably all they have now are small arms. Furthermore, they're probably not going to get anymore money from Putin. So why would they go fight in Ukraine?
1
IMO, the Chechens are a likely first fracture point, with the central power of Moscow obviously greatly diminished. Are there any other possible breakaway oblasts? If so, I think this may be how the war ends ... with Russia dividing itself into smaller pieces. If that happens, the natural danger will not be from the west, but from the CCP.
1
The babushkas are kind of funny, in that apparently Wagner was paying troops in American cash and gold, not rubles.
1
Russia's handling of Wagner can be best described as "socialists gonna socialist." They said they were going to arm him, and they didn't, and now the Wagner group is stuck in position with no recourse, sacrificed by the Russian military. Because in socialist society, if you try to correct the bad policies, you become the enemy.
1
IMO, if Russia gets free of Putin, they should divide the country into 2-6 parts. Make it harder for there to be a dictator. Sure, smaller countries - like Belarus, or North Korea - can have a dictator. But it is harder for any part of the nation to resist the govt the bigger that govt is. So reduce federal power by breaking up into smaller autonomous parts. These parts can still engage in trade and form coalitions, as the former USSR states - like Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia - do.
1
Russia is one of the more obvious police states, along with China, NK, and the rest of the usual suspects. But the west has headed that same direction as well, with the rise in this behavior directly paralleling that nation's rise in cooperation with China.
1
It sounds like Russia's army is all for show. Meat waves!
1
The Chechens may lose their opportunity to attack and destabilize Russia if they don't get with it soon. They need to get serious about their plans. As for the Republicans, they have tied Ukraine aid to enforcing US border security. Biden is letting millions of people from all nations walk across the border, and is in fact giving each of them a $5k gift card, plus food, clothing, shelter, a plane ticket, and whatever basic medical care they might need. And that's the minimum of the expense. When Biden stops that, Ukraine gets aid.
1
@insertcognomen Maybe Putin the Putrid.
1
Just imagine Shaman peforming for Hitler and being a proud Nazi, and you have the situation properly scoped out. The Nazis were mind controlling socialists, just like Putin's crew.
1
It seems like what the Ukrainians need to do is to take the heights and the roads. Cut off the Russians in the towns and let them wait.
1
Putin is showing the west how it is done by keeping his political rival in prison. Putin: "Yes, we are willing to negotiate for the unconditional surrender of Ukraine to Russia."
1
Russia will cease to exist. In the the future it will be known as China; or at least that is the intention of the CCP. I believe this is already underway.
1
I don't think it is a good idea to summon a demon by chanting his name 3x. The gentleman doing so on social media was clearly possessed by an evil spirit that destroyed his mind.
1
I would not be shocked if Putin decides to go "all-in" on taking Belarus and abandons all of his forces currently in Ukraine. The new call up could be for people to station in Belarus ... a country they can invade without a war.
1
I can imagine Ukraine retaking Crimea, but I think that also once it happens, Russia will probably seek to level it, making the whole area look like Bakhmut.
1
I'm starting to think the Babushkas are running Russia.
1
How did Ukrainian drones somehow not hit anything important at the Kremlin, just the flag? Which they had replaced by the next day? It seems more like someone was trying to make sure the damage was purely symbolic. As if it was a Russian idea. Most likely they needed a reason to cancel the parade without appearing to be weak.
1
When hedonism rises, corruption rises. And the higher corruption rises, the more likely you are to have war. And if both sides are corrupt, then it is more likely the war will be a long one, because both sides will spend their resources foolishly, giving neither side the advantage.
1
@N1rOx I've got you on mute now. You obviously think you're worth my time, but you're not.
1
I actually appreciate your use of colorful euphemisms for the war activities. It makes for a more interesting commentary, IMO. If you ever need to specify a specific type of metal cylinder or airplane or whatever, it doesn't seem like the censor cares about model numbers. It's silly business, what YT is doing, but they report to the globalists on how successful they are at controlling the narrative, and this is just part of it.
1
How sad that grandmothers want to send their grandsons out to die in a foreign war.
1
Russia is of course blowing smoke about Ukraine running out of resources to fight the war. What's actually going to happen is that Russia is going to collapse within the next 12 months.
1
Russia is rushing headlong back into communism. Xi rubs his hands with glee, as the CCP tentacles encircle more Russian resources.
1
The more interesting data point for me on Putin's regime is that earlier this month a new "institute for Xi Jinping thought" was set up in Russia, the first one outside of China. IMO, Shoigu probably works for the CCP.
1
One rational reason to fake Putin's death would be to see how key people would react to such news. Like, what if the CCP believed Putin was dead? What would they do?
1
It sounds like Ukraine has till the end of September to take advantage of the exhausted Russian lines. As for the comment by the Chechen leader, he is simply playing the religion card to try to energize his forces and get more volunteers.
