  1. IMO, it makes perfect sense for Putin to poison Lukashenko. Putin desperately needs a victory, and he knows he's not going to get it in Ukraine. So he's attempting to formally annex Belarus. Lukashenko probably received chelation IV treatment for his poisoning, with extensive bruising occurring due to his age, which is why he is wearing the bandage. Lukashenko is also partly looking sick because while he thought he was playing it safe by making friends with Putin, he sees the Russian armed forces in his country and feels the poison in this veins, and he knows Putin has him in the end game. Even if he tried to appeal to western powers for salvation, he's screwed, because of the Russian forces in his country. Even so, there's probably some back channel talk with the EU. Will we see Belarus become the next theater in this war? Possibly. I don't see Putin voluntarily pulling out, and without western aid, Lukashenko is dead.
