  1. The Biden administration giving permission for Ukraine to protect itself from forces they can see building up on Russian territory should have come immediately, and not have ever been withheld. As for peace, I'd say Russia can either keep the Ukrainian land it has taken (including Crimea), or have the sanctions lifted. In either case, I would say that Ukraine will be invited to join NATO. That's the only way to prevent a re-armament and another war. If Russia chooses to take the land, then a law should be put in place to keep the sanctions in place for at least 50 years.
