  1. Russia wants to give the impression it is reloading. I'm not convinced they're going to be able to do it without imploding. Already we know they no longer have any internal defenses. Everything they have is on the front lines in Ukraine. As economic conditions worsen, they are ripe for internal strife. IMO, Chechnya is the logical choice to make the first move. As for charting the course of the war, the American generals are as incompetent as the Russian ones. Not quite as corrupt, but getting there swiftly.
