  1. I've been saying this for so long, but it's hard to crack the egocentric bias. It's like survivor bias, or "victors write the history." You can work super hard manually digging ditches, but you'll never become a billionaire. Yet the billionaire will look at you with a straight face and elitist morality and say he got where he got by working hard. ;)
