Much as the people who watch this war as though it was a sport want a counter-offensive, the Ukrainians must do what is prudent. And they are. They are hitting the supply areas and troop concentrations. And in other areas, they are fighting defensively, which typically favors the defenders. That's how you win a war of attrition. What war fans want to see is land taken by force. But the more responsible thing is to be very efficient, very patient, and to destroy your opponent's ability to wage war.
