  1. I'd add to the vocals before going into the chorus. I'd also try to make the main vocals sound a little less open from the start, kind of like he's singing from inside a hole. Then that effect would be removed for the chorus, so the voice sounds more open and alive. Lots of ways to go, of course, but that was my impression upon hearing it. :)
