Honestly, this is a great idea, and eastern Washington ought to get in on it as well. This really ought to happen, and soon. There's geographical and economic sides to it. Like, the main road from Boise, ID to Coeur d'Alene, ID will take you deep into eastern OR and eastern WA before heading back into ID. The state lines here are arbitrary and not related to the economies and facts of life. I think everyone can see that Seattle and Portland have more in common with each other than either does with the eastern side of their state. It makes sense to group eastern OR and WA together with Idaho as that whole region has the same sorts of issues. Consequently, they'll do a better job of serving the citizens than currently happens in Salem or Olympia.
