  9. Blah blah blah. So difficult to find people who will tell the truth in the news media. The debt ceiling has to be raised before the debt can be paid down. It's a matter of time and momentum. The state is like an oil tanker, and you can't just spin it around. Even if you throw the engines in full reverse, you can't overcome inertia immediately. It's also like repairing an old car instead of buying a new one. You need to get new money either way, but usually less to repair.

  35. State-sponsored welfare is the worst solution, almost always. That's so-called "social justice." This is the reason for why the US went against the counsel of the Founding Fathers and instituted the federal income tax: to feed the poor. Now they use the taxes for all kinds of crazy control schemes and endless warfare, and the poor are still there. Citizens taking care of citizens on their own ... that's the right way to go. And the authorities don't want us doing that. Ask yourself why. As for protestors, they're just supposed to hold signs, to speak and be seen, but they're not supposed to be rioting or blocking traffic. That's not fair to the rest of the citizens.

  46. I actually don't believe Tucker when he talks about the Ukraine War. He hardly ever cites his sources, he just makes blanket declarations, as if everyone should just agree. He doesn't even give his audience the opportunity to make up their own mind based on data, which is super bad form for a "journalist." Perfectly fine form, however, if your model is to be a propagandist, which he has been for most of his career.
