  8. To certain people, Biden's promise to not pardon his son is the memorable thing, not the fact that he actually did pardon his son. They won't ever consider that he was lying from the start, and from well before that as well, because he has been corrupt his whole time in federal govt.

  11.  @Zmok  I would say the problem is more that people who are hedonist (evil) think everybody is a hedonist, and everybody who is a moralist (good) tends to think everyone is moral. The moral reluctantly make laws as a reaction to the behavior of the hedonists, which they can hardly believe exist, and the hedonists make laws as part their game of acquisition and advantage against what they perceive as a world full of hedonists.

  13. IMO, this is on the parents, who stopped caring about their kids. When I was in grade school, decades ago, in 7th grade they were teaching us the same science we covered again in high school and then again in a 100 level course in college. In 7th grade we covered the same American history we covered again in high school. So kids CAN learn a lot more than they are now. But schools have been turned to crap by the parents who don't care. And no, this whole idea of there not being enough funding is BULL. And this idea there's too many students is BULL. The teachers are crap, and the administration is crap. But it began with parents letting their kids treat school like it was all recess, and administrations passing kids instead of EXPELLING them.
