Spain, for example, imports 70% of its energy, and yes, that's fossil fuels. On average, Europe imports 50% of its energy. This is because of politics and ignorant voters. Politicians have permitted themselves to be bribed primarily by Russia to rely on Russian energy rather than develop energy independence. Europeans seem to be completely unaware they are responsible for all of the oil wars.
