  1. China must be thrilled that Russia's military is so depleted. Keep in mind that Russia and China share a long border, are not close allies, and their militaries have skirmished since WW2. Russia has all of the natural resources that China lacks. Logically, China wants Russia more than Taiwan or any other piece of land in the world. IMO, China helped manipulate Russia into Ukraine as a trap. If China takes Russia, who will help Russia? The longer this war goes on, the more the Russian homeland is in direct danger from China.
