@sinnombrea1944 That's just an economic fail. A lot of Americans are moral people, but there's clearly an effort afoot to suppress the moral and elevate the amoral, throughout the west. A morality fail would be worse than an economic fail.

@andrewbyrnes5087 Specifically, in the 80s we strove for excellence. But also in the 80s the corrupt money from China began flowing into the west, so everything became increasingly corrupt and communist as we proceeded through the 90s and up to the present day.

@JJ-ot9pl No, nuclear warfare is far less likely than communism on both sides of the US - Canadian border. Putin is an autocrat with large holdings and progeny. He's not a committed ideologue. He's not going to destroy the world.
