  1. EBT cards are being used to purchase fast food. That's what's really making fast food prices this high. McDonaltd's is charging around $5 for the large fries, when in most cities, you can buy 5 lbs of potatoes (or more) for that price, retail. This is just like the college tuition scam, health care scams, and so on, where the govt introduced perverse incentives to the market. If you want to see fast food prices come down, demand that the welfare / EBT cards can no longer be used to make purchases of fast food.
