  1. So when did a group of press reporters, gathered on the footpath to film and report on events, become an illegal assembly? A teargas cannister thrown directly at the press by a police officer, as he was getting on a bus to depart the scene, does not constitute a necessity to break up an illegal assembly, but seemed more to be a message on departure. A very reckless action! He should be held accountable for his actions.
