  5.  @Hide_and_silk  you may therefore take it wrong. Company directors are bound by rules, set by the company. I will suggest the US Government has made a retrospective change, which in fact is not an accounting error, but alleviates the blame of the result from their shoulders. (blame the accountants). Valuation rules are not flexible, even in governance.
