  1. The reason and existence of NATO is to protect all countries from attack by an enemy. It is and has always been held that Russia is the enemy. So why not find a way to make your enemy your friend, and lessen the need for an alliance which as we all know is run by a non european nation. It will be amazing how much more peace there will be in the world, and bring about a new sense of world order no longer controlled by a single self serving nation.
